The founder and publisher of the journal is the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education ‘The Ural State University of Railway Transport’.
The journal is founded in 2009.
Publication frequency – once a quarter.
The printed version of the journal is registered in the Federal Service for Supervision in the sphere of communications, information technology and mass communications (Roskomnadzor). Certificate of registration - PI ¹ FS77–38188 of November 30, 2009.
The periodical is registered in the ISSN International Center – ISSN number 2979-0392.
The information on published articles is regularly sent to the Russian Index of Scientific Citing (RISC) in the prescribed form.
The journal ‘Herald of USURT’ of the Ural State University of Railway Transport has a full-text electronic version in the Internet on the journal web-site.
Every journal issue is sent to the Russian Public library and also to other leading libraries, educational and scientific institutions of the Russian Federation.
